Robin Walton serves as the Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Philanthropy Officer at Inspira Health. In this role, Robin leads donor relations and fundraising initiatives, while overseeing the health system’s external affairs portfolio.

Robin Walton currently chairs the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, the Chamber’s State Affairs Council, and co-chairs the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council. She has previously chaired the Board of Trustees at Rowan College at Burlington County College and served on the Board of Trustees for several organizations, including Executive Women of New Jersey, Children’s Specialized Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Hamilton (a RWJBarnabas affiliate), and the New Jersey Hospital Association. Additionally, Robin has been a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention and the Governor’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Task Force.

Robin Walton has volunteered on Mercer County’s Child Place Review Board, which assists the family court system in reviewing cases of children placed outside of their homes by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. She is also actively involved in her church, serving as President of the Pastor’s Aide Auxiliary, an Assistant Youth Sunday School teacher, and participating in the Kids Are People Too (K.A.P.T.) youth outreach.

Robin Walton has received numerous accolades throughout her career. In 2012, she was honored with the Salute to the Policy Makers Award from the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ). In 2016, she was named one of NJBIZ’s Top 40 under 40 in NJ. In 2018, she received the Maria Barnaby Greenwald Empowerment Award. In 2019, Robin was recognized at the Princeton YWCA Tribute to Women Awards, named one of NJBIZ’s Best 50 Women in Business, and awarded the Marvin J. “Swede” Johnson Achievement Award for her advocacy on behalf of adult learners in higher education. She also received the 2020 Trailblazer Award from the National Association of 100 Black Women of Southern New Jersey. In 2022, Robin was honored with the Garden State Boy Scout’s Women of Achievement award for Gloucester County and Salem County’s Calvary Community Development Corporation’s Healthcare Award. She was also selected for the Greater Vineland NAACP Business Award and the Gloucester County NAACP President’s Award in 2023 and named the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Executive of the Year. Additionally, Robin has been featured on ROI-NJ’s People of Color, Women and Government Relations Top Influencers in New Jersey Lists, South Jersey’s African American Power List, and South Jersey Biz’s Women to Watch 2024 List.

Robin Walton holds a Master’s degree in Management and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Management and Leadership from Thomas Edison State University. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and an International Certificate in German from Douglass College at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Robin and her husband reside in Southern New Jersey with their two sons.
