The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey Announces New Leadership at Annual Meeting

The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey (WPCNJ) hosted its Annual Meeting Wednesday evening, bringing together supporters from across the state for an evening celebrating women’s leadership and the future of the organization.

The event featured special guest speaker Deirdre M. Naughton, who shared insights from her distinguished career in public service and reflected on her journey through state government, the judiciary, and executive leadership.

During the meeting, members officially elected a new slate of officers and board members to lead the organization into its next chapter. Kaylee McGuire was elected President of WPCNJ and will serve alongside the newly elected Executive Board:

• Vice President for Finance – Erin Rice
• Vice President for Membership – Andrea Martinez-Mejia
• Secretary – Scarlett Rajski
• Treasurer – Liz Murray

Members also elected the following individuals to serve on the WPCNJ Board of Directors: Jade Bechelli, Chrissy Buteas, Eileen DellaVolle, Christina Farrell, Athina Fassu, Petra Gaskins, Kate Gibbs, Brianna Hill, Sabeen Masih, Stephanie McAlary, Grace Strom Power, and Antonia Ricigliano.

In addition, members elected the following WPCNJ PAC Officers:

• WPCNJ PAC Chair – Eileen Kean
• WPCNJ PAC Treasurer – Pamela Yuen

Outgoing President Eileen Kean reflected on a remarkable year for the organization, highlighting the Caucus’ continued growth and impact throughout the state. Under her leadership, WPCNJ achieved record-breaking fundraising success, launched internship and fellowship programs, and welcomed many new supporters into the organization.

“It has been an incredible honor to serve as President of WPCNJ,” said Kean. “I am proud of all that we have accomplished together and excited to see the organization continue to grow and thrive under its new leadership.”

Incoming President Kaylee McGuire expressed enthusiasm for the future of the organization and its continued mission to empower women in politics and public service.

The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey is the only multi-partisan, pro-choice, grassroots organization in New Jersey dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and building a women’s political power base to achieve equality for all women.
